A sunny Saturday in September the vineyard saw its first official guests as friends and neighbors from Eridge were invited to walk the vineyard. The vineyard presented itself beautifully as it soaked up the sunny afternoon. The guests were lead down the green pathways by Douglas and Susanna and were given a short talk as well as answering their many questions. After the walk, the early evening continued inside the estate offering a variety of lovely handcrafted local cheeses combined with English sparkling wine and a marvelous view as the sunset behind the vineyard. It was a success as the guests seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Now the vineyard lies in wait of the imminent harvest in October that is getting closer day by day.
